Catching up....

Crazy!!!! We've had some weird and  unusual weather patterns going on around here!  From freezing single digit temperatures to ice storms, then thunderstorms ,fog, and a balmy 54 degrees.  Then plunging back down to single digits and snow.I'll be SO glad when January ends. Hurry Spring......! It can't get here fast enough for me.

Today I am sharing some of the projects I have been working on this past week. First up is this cute wall hanging. I designed it to hang on a door in my craftroom. Love how it turned out!

My second project are these cute shaped cards. I used my Cameo software to create the shape around the card in order to make the stand up part of it. I then do the piecing's as normal to fit in the shape. I plan to do more of these.

My last project is this adorable sewing themed card. It is one of my favorites. I made it as a Valentine themed card but you could easily use it for any occasion just by changing the sentiment. The fold is at the top. I created the lettering in my Cameo software.

All of the files used in these projects are from Treasure Box Designs. Thanks for looking and Happy Scrapping!

You are a Hoot!

Wow.... the snow is coming down here like crazy in Northern Michigan. A great time to stay indoors. Which I did today, and played in my craft room. Today I crafted this cute page title banner using a past freebie file from Treasure Box Designs. It's actually a Christmas Owl file. I left off the wreath and cut the owl out in pink for Valentines Day.

I added it to a cutout border that I got from Silhouette America. The border gives it a lace like effect.

The branch, leaves and phrase are also Silhouette files. The flowers are from EK Success. I added some rhinestone bling to pretty it up.

This owl file is one of my all time favorites from Treasure Box Designs and I have used it over and over again! Thanks for looking. Stay warm and safe and have a great weekend. Happy Scrapping!

Hog Wild for you......

It sure has turned cold here in Michigan! I hope you are all fairing well and keeping warm in your neck of the woods. Today I'm sharing two card projects I've created using cutting files from Treasure Box Designs.
First up is this cute 'Hog Wild' round card I did using pieces from the new Valentine Wrapper Cards cutting file.

I tried something different for the background using my Scor Pal to make the lines and then rubbed across them using some chalk. I made it kind of messy looking (like a pig would be) but I'm not sure how I'm liking it~lol.

For my second card I used a fish from the 'Here Fishy Fishy' file. I had a hard time deciding which fish to use. There were so many cute ones to choose from.

On both cards I used a computer generated digital stamp. The heart for the fish is just a punched out heart and I hand drew the hook using my micron pen. I added the clear acrylic dots to make it look like bubbles.

The title of this project reminds me of that old song...Love Letters in the Sand. But whoa....that definitely says something about my age.... so we are not going to go there~lol.
Even though I'm not sharing my age, I do want to share this cute little couple with you.

Aren't they just the sweetest? They are from the new ' Love Letters' cutting file from Treasure Box Designs. I just love his cute little mailbag with the tiny envelopes inside.  And her little shoes with the hearts on them. It was such a fun project to piece.

XOXOXOXOXO.......

Hugs and Kisses....This is a sweet little gift basket I created using the Tic tac Toe 4 Two file from Treasure Box Designs.
The basket is a Shillouette Studio file. I added a hand punched scalloped tag and the stamp is computer generated. I made a ton of the little digital stamps last year with different sayings, and whenever I need one it's easy to just pop one on. This is the front of the basket.
This is the back side of the basket. I just added another little scalloped tag and some bling and it's ready for a little gift or candy treat. Be sure and check out all of the cute new files at Treasure Box Designs. Right now the - 40% off after spending $8 sale-is still going on. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

Valentine's Cake Pop Kids.....

Hi~ Here today with a cute Valentine paper piecing project using Treasure Box Designs Cake Pop Kids cutting file.
I did change the round cake pops to heart shaped pops and used Valentine themed colors. I also created my own phrase to go along with the theme. Everything was created and cut using my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine.

That's what I love about the cutting files from Treasure Box Designs. It is so fun to do a little presto chango and come up with a completely different look, that's perfect for what you need!
(You can click on each photo for an enlarged view.)

I can't resist the cute little faces on the TBD files. They are simply the best anywhere, and the files are so easy to use. Everything fits together perfectly without any extra cutting or adjusting. You need to go check them out! And right now there is a 40% off sale after spending $8.00.
Thanks for stopping in today. Happy Scrapping!

Happy New Year!!!!

Happy New Year to all of my family and friends. I hope you didn't party too hard last night :) My night consisted of watching a little tv, some snacks and of course working on some cute projects using Treasure Box Designs cutting files. Today I'm sharing two Valentine projects with you. Yes I know that Christmas was just here, and that February is a little ways away yet, but such is the life of a crafter~lol.

First up is this cute bookmark border I created using the cutting files from the Dream Collection Bears.

I used the basic bear shapes from the kit, and added the lock and key in place of the other items included in the files. That's the great thing about the files from Treasure Box Designs. You can mix and match the pieces or do your own thing using the basic pieces from the files.
The lock and key are from Silhouette. I added some cut borders in pink and white for background accents and highlighted the shaded pieces with a white gel pen. These bears are just too cute!

My second project is a cute milk carton box that is perfect for holding candy treats, a pair of socks or footies or other Valentine goodies.
I created this project using the Beary Charming cut file and again changed things out to work for my purpose. I used the bears from the file and added the heart with the stamped message. A little bling and a bowtie and he's all spiffed up.

I added this little peeker bear to the back side of the box, and placed a tagged message in his paws instead of the original file, and he's good to go :)

Try looking at your files to see how you can use them in so many different ways. Mix and match the pieces to come up with a one of a kind file, for a totally unique project. It's so much fun!

Be sure and get the adorable free file included in this weeks newsletter. Or you can also pick it up here. But be sure and sign up for the weekly newsletter, so you'll  not miss anything. Right now there's a 40% off sale on purchases of $8 or more so be sure and check it out!
Happy New Year and Happy Scrapping!
