All aboard......

All aboard the Egg Train! Today I'm sharing my latest project created using an older file from Treasure Box Designs. I'm not sure but I think this exact file 'July 4th' has been reissued and renamed. I used the basic cuts from the file, the teddy and the train cars and made substitutions to create the Easter theme.

I added grass to the train cars for the eggs to sit in and added an egg in his hand! I also left his hat off.

Here's a closeup of the train cars.

Here's a photo of the original file so you can see how easy it is to change the theme on these files. They are so versatile. I love that about Treasure Box Design files!

Right now there is a sale going on in the store. So be sure and stop in for some savings and stock up on your favorite files. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Scrapping!

Did somebody say Carrots?........

Hi Scrappers! Stopping by to share my latest project with you today. I created an Easter card using the 'Got Carrots?' cutting file from Treasure Box Designs.

I made my own file for the carrot pocket using my Paintshop Pro software, and then imported it into my Silhouette software to create my cutting file.

I wanted something that would fit on a card that I could tuck the bunnies into and behind of, and still fit  on the card front.

I embossed the green on the carrot tops, and the front panel of the pocket using Cuttlebug folders. I added a plastic molded bunny holding his carrot. The stamped saying is a computer generated tag.

Stop by Treasure Box Designs and check out all of the cute files they have. New ones are added almost every day.  They have added a new line of Tiny Treasures priced at under $1. And the new line of Tear Bears with  separate clothing outfits is adorable too! And right now there is a sale going on with no minimum purchase!

It's Spring......well almost!

Well Spring isn't here quite yet.....but soon! I hope anyway! Today I'm sharing a cute Spring layout I did using the 'I Turtly Love You' file collection from Treasure Box Designs.

I don't often create scrap page layouts. And when I do, I like to keep them simple. I try to keep the extras to a minimum so that the focus stays on the photos. Clean and simple or less is more in my case.

The I Turtly Love You cutting file is actually from the Valentine/Love section in the store, but all of the files from Treasure Box Designs are so easy to convert for other uses. Just by changing the colors or mixing and matching the pieces with other files. Be sure and check out all of the adorable designs that are available in the store. And right now there is a great sale going on. Thanks for stopping in and Happy Scrapping!

Spring Chick Border

The sun is shining today and a hint of Spring is in the air! It prompted me to create this cute Spring Chick Border in a light pastel palette. The chick is from an older file from Treasure Box Designs.

The cracked egg is from TBD's Silly Goose file. The background border is a Silhouette file and the title I created using my Cameo software program.  Thanks for stopping by. Happy Crafting!

Lucky Clovers...

Hi Scrappers....I'm wanting to share my cute 'Lucky Clovers' tabletop project with you today. I used the Treasure Box Designs 'Face Stamps' to make the faces on my clovers. Aren't they cute?

I shaded and added some stitching around the outsides of each one. I then glued them back to back on some wooden skewers and added a ribbon tie.

I love the face stamps from Treasure Box Designs   They are great if you are a little intimidated about doing faces. There are two different sets of faces available in the clear rubber stamp sets. Check out all of the cute cutting files and face stamps available in the store. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Scrapping :)
*UPDATE~ I was just informed the stamps are currently sold out. Contact the store for the next availability date.

Doggy Vertical Banner

Stopping by to share another project with you. I just started doing these vertical banners and really like them. This one is a cute dog themed border using a cut file from the Dog Collection from Treasure Box Designs.

This particular file 'The Dog Collection'  has a lot of different style dogs in it and they are all equally as cute as this one. There is also a Cat Collection as well.

The pretty circle overlay used on the background is from the Silhouette store and the sign and lettering I created in my cameo software. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Scrapping.

Hurry Spring......

I really don't mean to complain...I mean after all.. I DO live in Michigan....But I 've really had enough snow to last me awhile. I sure hope Spring IS just around the corner. At least I know Easter is anyway. It's So early this year!!!! What's up with THAT? I mean really. Kind of hard to hunt for eggs in a snow storm...just sayin.
I have a couple of projects I made this week to try and bolster up my dreary winter attitude. I hope they put you in a 'spring like' mood. First is this cute Chick vertical banner I created using a chick from an older Treasure Box Designs file.

The pink vertical banner and the butterflies are from the Cameo on line store. The white mini daisies were handmade by me using a paper punch.

The wording I created in my Cameo software. I think she is so cute in her little stripes.

I also created this shaped card using the (gum ball) jelly beans dispenser file from the 'Time for Jelly Beans'  from Treasure Box Designs.

I used vellum for the glass globe part of the machine, and then applied the finished piecing to a shaped card that I created using my Cameo software. I love making these tent fold shaped cards. I still need to add some wording or stamped phrase to the front.

Be sure and stop by Treasure Box Designs to view all of the latest new files and take advantage of the sale going on right now. And be sure to join us for inspiration, chit chat and team project photos on our facebook page too. Happy Crafting.

Lucky Bear.......

Hi Scrappers.....stopping by to show you this cute St Patty's Day project. I love this little bear file from Treasure Box Designs and keep reaching for it again and again, whenever I need a single bear for a project. Today's project has him popping out of this leprechuan's hat.

The hat shaped card is from the silhouette store. I added some glitter paper bling to punch it up.

I've also been experimenting lately with  making my own eyes and created these using my software program. So far I am really liking the ones I used here. Isn't he adorable?

Right now there is a 50% off sale on all cutting files at Treasure Box Designs. A perfect time to fill out your wish list. And there are SO many adorable new ones coming out every day. You'll want them all. I know I do!

Say Cheese and Lucky Me!....

Hi, Stopping by to share a couple of cute projects I created using files from Treasure Box Designs. First up is this cute photo frame created using the 'Say Cheese' cutting file.

I created my own wording to fit with the cute little mouse and added the scallop border across the top. I used foam pop dots on the mouse and the 'smile phrase' to add some dimension. (The frame template is a Silhouette Cameo file.)

My next project is this cute Lucky Bear Gift Box. I used the bear from the 'Lucky Me'  file.

The box is shaped like a pot and it will hold candy or a small gift. (The box is a Silhouette America file)
I tied a piece of twine around the top and added some shamrocks. Look at his cute little bowtie:)
Be sure and check out all the cute cutting files at Treasure Box Designs! And thanks for stopping in to look today. Happy Scrapping!
