If I didn't know better I'd think it was Fall here in Northern Michigan!!! It's cold, rainy and freezing here today, and more of the same is forecast through and into next week. I keep reading blogs with beautiful flowers and spring porch decorating and it is making me so crabby!! I am so jealous of those of you where Spring has already arrived. In keeping with my 'crabby' attitude, I designed this cute little card using a file from Treasure Box Designs.
I used a single crab and the title from the "Crabby Kids" file. Isn't he cute? And not crabby looking at all.
My card shape is from the Silhouette store and I added some embossing with a Cuttlebug folder. I popped everything up and added a computer generated message. And yes....I WAS snapping at everyone ...and feeling VERY crabby!
Hmmm.....I wonder if I make a card with a sun and pretty flowers, if the weather will improve? I guess not. Not according to the weatherman anyway. I think I'll go to bed, pull the covers up over my head and stay there until the sun shines and the rain has stopped :) Happy Scrapping!

Imagine!.....
Check out my cute little bear card I created using one of the bear patterns from Treasure Box Designs
Doesn't he look smart in his cute little glasses?
(His glasses are not part of the file. They are from a Lettering Delights file.)
I popped up his muzzle, nose and eyeglasses and added a little fabric bowtie. The background was embossed using a Cuttlebug folder. The tag and heart are from my stash. Thanks for stoping by to look.

Happy Birthday Little Boy Card
Hi~I needed a quick card for a small boys birthday, so I whipped up this one using a file from Treasure Box Designs 'Scoops of Fun'.
I printed out some digital papers to use for the background (sorry I can't remember the source). The sentiment is stamped.
I just love the scoops of ice cream on his shoes and head. Thanks for looking. Happy Scrapping!

You are So Beeutiful to me....
Today I'm sharing this cute bee border that I created using the 'Freebie Bee Girl' file from Treasure Box Designs. I have used her on several projects before and just love her. I decided to make a vertical border.
The background border and the honeycomb embellishment are from the Silhouette America on line store.
I added extra bees, and created the tag for the top. Some round silver bling to dress it up.
I also added gold stickles for some extra sparkle!

Happy Easter from the 'Roo's'
For my project today I have chosen to do a side step folding card using the cute Kangaroos from 'I love Roo'. It was actually created as a Valentine file, but I altered it to work for my Easter theme. Here is the original file.
Here is what I did with it.
I substituted eggs in place of the hearts and added grass and flowers to the mix to give it a Spring feeling.
Here is how the card looks from the side unfolded'
I have used this file lots of times for lots of different purposes and it adapts so well to any theme I want to use it on. I love the cute little faces.
This file as well as all of the Treasure Box Design cutting files are so versatile and easy to assemble. The Mama Kangaroo with the cute baby in her pouch would make a great Mother's Day card. Or use a single file to create a birthday card or any type card.
The 'Roo's' and I would like to wish you a Happy Easter!

All aboard......
All aboard the Egg Train! Today I'm sharing my latest project created using an older file from Treasure Box Designs. I'm not sure but I think this exact file 'July 4th' has been reissued and renamed. I used the basic cuts from the file, the teddy and the train cars and made substitutions to create the Easter theme.
Here's a closeup of the train cars.
Here's a photo of the original file so you can see how easy it is to change the theme on these files. They are so versatile. I love that about Treasure Box Design files!
Right now there is a sale going on in the store. So be sure and stop in for some savings and stock up on your favorite files. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Scrapping!
I added grass to the train cars for the eggs to sit in and added an egg in his hand! I also left his hat off.

Did somebody say Carrots?........
Hi Scrappers! Stopping by to share my latest project with you today. I created an Easter card using the 'Got Carrots?' cutting file from Treasure Box Designs.
I made my own file for the carrot pocket using my Paintshop Pro software, and then imported it into my Silhouette software to create my cutting file.
I wanted something that would fit on a card that I could tuck the bunnies into and behind of, and still fit on the card front.
I embossed the green on the carrot tops, and the front panel of the pocket using Cuttlebug folders. I added a plastic molded bunny holding his carrot. The stamped saying is a computer generated tag.
Stop by Treasure Box Designs and check out all of the cute files they have. New ones are added almost every day. They have added a new line of Tiny Treasures priced at under $1. And the new line of Tear Bears with separate clothing outfits is adorable too! And right now there is a sale going on with no minimum purchase!

Bunny Trifold Card.....
Stopping by to share my Design Team project for this week. I just love how this card turned out!
I used the 'Basket Full of Love' file from Treasure Box Designs. I resized them to fit the size card I was making. The trifold card is a Silhouette store file. Here are the individual panels of the cards. You can click on any of them for a more detailed view.

It's Spring......well almost!
I don't often create scrap page layouts. And when I do, I like to keep them simple. I try to keep the extras to a minimum so that the focus stays on the photos. Clean and simple or less is more in my case.
The I Turtly Love You cutting file is actually from the Valentine/Love section in the store, but all of the files from Treasure Box Designs are so easy to convert for other uses. Just by changing the colors or mixing and matching the pieces with other files. Be sure and check out all of the adorable designs that are available in the store. And right now there is a great sale going on. Thanks for stopping in and Happy Scrapping!

Spring Chick Border
The sun is shining today and a hint of Spring is in the air! It prompted me to create this cute Spring Chick Border in a light pastel palette. The chick is from an older file from Treasure Box Designs.
The cracked egg is from TBD's Silly Goose file. The background border is a Silhouette file and the title I created using my Cameo software program. Thanks for stopping by. Happy Crafting!
