Hi, Stopping in with a cute project I made for our annual Mothers Day brunch. I had to wait to post it because I wanted it to be a surprize for the girls.
It was a hit with all of the recipients as well as the wait staff. A couple of the waitresses came by the table and slipped me there email addresses so I could share how it was made~lol
I used files from My Scrap Chick for the cake boxes, although I did alter the original files some to suit my project better. The roses, butterflies, and leaves, as well as the plate doiley are all from the SIlhouette America store.
Each lady was given a slice of cake to take home. I will be making more of these again. Maybe for a birthday or baby shower would be cute. I'm even thinking about doing one for July 4th :)
I also made up these cute candybar covers to give everyone too. They were simple and quick to make.
All the gals received a cute dress card as well. These were super fast to make and I just stamped a Mothers Day greeting inside. (The file is from the Silhouette America store)
Sorry about the darkness of the photos. I had to use my phone since I forgot to charge the camera batteries :( Thanks for stopping by to take a look. Have a great Sunday and Happy Crafting!
