You Are So Bee-utiful To Me......

Hi, ~ I'm stopping by to share another card on this bee-utiful sunny Sunday! Then I'm off to spend Father's Day with my own Mr. Honey Bee!
I started my card off by using a jar file I got from the  Silhouette America on line store. I duplicated the shape in the Cameo software and then welded the shapes together to form the card base. I then cut out another shape, only using Vellum paper this time so that I could put the two smaller bee's behind the vellum.
Here is a closeup of the two smaller bee's sandwiched in between the card base and vellum layers.
I added the larger bee on top of the jar and added the computer generated message to the front using pop dots.

All of the bee cutting files are from Treasure Box Designs. The two smaller bees are from the "Unbeelieveable You" file and the large bee is from the "My Little Bugaboo" file.
Be sure and stop by Treasure Box Designs and check out all of the new files. They are the most adorable cutting files anywhere on the web. Have a Happy Sunday and thanks for dropping in! Keep scrapping.

Father's Day Card.......

Even though my Dad has been gone for many years I still think of him and miss him on Father's Day. This year marks 30 years since he passed away. I have a lot of good memories to keep him alive in my heart.
I'm stopping by today with a card I made in celebration of all Dad's everywhere. This pattern is from Treasure Box Designs and is one of the Treasure Tots line.
I kept the card simple, since most men don't like a lot of fancy lace, buttons or flowers on cards, so I simply layered the papers and popped up the piecing's. I used a kraft paper background as my neutral color, and used aqua as my accent color. Just enough color without appearing 'girly'.
You really need to go check out all of the wonderful Treasure Tots available at the store, as well as the adorable Twinkle Tots, and Tiny Treasures. There are all kinds of mix and match clothing files available as well, for you to create all kinds of different characters.
Thanks so much for stopping by and following me on my blog. I appreciate all of my followers so much! Have a great day and Happy Scrapping!

What's The Word Bird?.....

My appointment with the ortho Dr went well this morning. The arm cast came off and it's healing nicely. Now comes the physical therapy to regain my range of motion. It'll take work but I'll get it back!
I wanted to share my cute easel card I made using a file from Treasure Box Designs.
This little bird pairs up well with the birdcage card template from Silhouette America.
Here's the front of the card folded up.
I added the stamped tag and flowers to the front and another tag to the inside bottom. The daisy keeps the card open for display.

There are so many cute cutting files available at Treasure Box Designs right now that I have a hard time choosing what project to do next. Thanks for looking, have a great day and Get Crafty!

A Tropical Wedding Card.....

I know it's been awhile but I have good reason. I broke my arm 6 weeks ago climbing on the back of our motorcycle. It wasn't moving, wasn't even running...I am just a klutz! It is healing well though and I hope to get my cast off soon.
Today is my first project since my 'mishap' and I was so happy to finally be able to get some crafting done. A family member was recently married and her reception is this coming weekend. Her wedding theme is 'tropical' so I created this card to give her along with my gift.
I went with a tri fold card and used cutting files from Treasure Box Designs. I hand drew the clouds and added computer generated circle tags to display my message.
I also added some bling to the front and to the tags to 'punch' it up. I'm pretty pleased with the result.
Be sure and stop by and check out all of the cute files at Treasure Box Designs. And thanks for stopping by my blog. Have a great crafty week!
