Hi All, I spent most of the summer traveling the roads with my recently retired hubby, so it has been quite a while since I've done any posting on here. Fall is here again, and my thoughts always turn to cozying up my surroundings and getting ready to hunker down for the long Michigan winters that we have here. I have recently renewed my interest in Wool-Applique and will be sharing a lot of those projects here, as well as my paper projects. After all, applique is a lot like paper piecing, in as much as you apply it in layers like you would paper. Well that may be a stretch, lol, but anyway I hope you enjoy viewing both my wool and paper projects here. (Warning: This is a long graphic filled post. Just wanted to let you know. I have a lot of catching up to do )
These are my hanging Autumn Ornaments made from wool felt. There are 6 in all and are perfect for hanging on a bare tree branch spray painted black. Which I will do with mine soon. If you put the branch in a rusted coffee can it would make a cute fall centerpiece.
I added seed beads to all of mine for some sparkle.
The pattern is available as an E-pattern for $6 or as a mailed pattern for $8. US only please, using Paypal.
Here is another of my newest Wool-Applique designs, called Smiley The Scarecrow.
I made him into a cute little pillow, but he would be perfect as a table runner, candle mat, wall hanging or pretty much on any project.
He works up pretty quickly too. I made him in just a few hours. Pattern is also available for this one.
My very latest wool applique projects are these two whimsical 'Pops' projects. Aren't they just too adorable? ' Pumpkin Pops and Snow Pops' will soon be joined by Ginger Pops. I am hoping to create an entire line of 'Pops'
You could make a dozen of the Pumpkin Pops and make yourself a Halloween tree. And the Snow Pops would be adorable dusted in glass glitter and hanging on your Christmas tree. The patterns for these are available now also.
All patterns come complete with color photo, supply list, instructions and pattern template. Downloadable E-patterns are $6 and mailed pattern packets are $8. Mailed versions in the United States only. Paymentisaccepted through Paypal. Once payment is made, then file is sent by email. Finished versions are not available at this time. To order a pattern please email me at: email@example.com or leave me a message here in the comment section.
Thanks for looking and have a 'Crafty' weekend. :)
